Alice-Miranda on Vacation by Jacqueline Harvey

Alice-Miranda is home on vacation with Jacinta to keep her company.  Should be a nice quiet summer, right?  Wrong!

Delacorte Press Books sent me a copy of this story for review (thank you).  It has been published so you can grab a copy now.  Get the first book too, Alice-Miranda at School, so your child has more opportunity to meet this new quirky character.

Alice-Miranda has a way of handling people to get the results she desires, and it works well for her.  But a cranky boy who won't even tell them his name is beginning to really annoy her.  He's always butting in and making things worse.

There is plenty of adventure in this story.  There are spies, romance in the air, and they even have a movie star visiting.  But the biggest surprise is one none of the children could have anticipated...

Why not introduce your 7-10 year old child to this positive force of nature named Alice-Miranda?  It's an enjoyable read.

Happy reading.
