It's hard to get a good start to a new life when you find yourself accused of murder. Liz had actually been a bit glad to lose her high stress publicity job, but this isn't much better. No one knows her, her old boyfriend isn't around much, and she doesn't like the looks or the gossip going around. She decides to do some snooping on her own.
This story is filled with animals, mostly dogs. I'm an animal person, so this story really appealed to me. Animals and a mystery, what more could I want?

By the end of the story more than one mystery has been solved and Stan is working on a new boyfriend, one she's met in town. This was a good story and I look forward to reading about her next adventure and seeing how her romance and new business advance.
