Her charm bracelet is the most important thing in the world to her. It signifies both happy and sad events in her life and she treasures each one. She knows just what each moment and memory means. When she finds one in the pocket of a jacket from donor, she wants to return it to the owner. After all, she's sure she didn't mean to donate that. But how?
St. Martin's Griffin gave the opportunity to read this book for review (thank you). It will be published October 13th, so you can grab a copy then.
This is an excellent read for Christmas. It's set in the Christmas season and romance is in the air. Holly and her son are doing fine. Greg is going to propose to his fiance. Greg's mother is dying but she's still here. Who could imagine how things would work out?
Greg's fiance says no. Holly's son's father comes back into their life long enough for the boy to get hurt in a skating accident. Holly is attempting to find the owner of the bracelet by tracing the charms. Most are expensive and have trademarks or dates on them. However, most of the records are long gone or the seller is dead. Holly persists in her search.
This is a good story with lots of personal mysteries and problems being solved along the way. Holly finds out, almost by accident, that the bracelet was Greg's mother's. She and Greg click in a way that lets you know he'll be buying her charms in the future. And the best part was the story of how the bracelet ended up in that pocket.
This book is charming (no pun intended) and it was great fun to read. How can you not like a happy ending? Why not get a copy and get yourself in the mood for Christmas? You'll be glad you did!
