Space is not a safe place. Especially not for these astronauts...
Image Comics sent me a galley of this story for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy here: COMIC.
Everyone has hurts and concerns in their heart. Whether it is a lost family, a lost opportunity for a baby, or a man who has seen too many die, there are ghosts. What do you do when the planet you land is capable to making you see your ghosts? When there are monsters to kill you? Where you find out you are the thirteen expedition to "save" the other astronauts on the planet, not the third. Why did they lie to you?
This story reminds me a bit of the movie Bruce Willis was in called Armageddon. There are no good choices for these people. They do what they can and try to kill the monster they've found but they don't succeed. They split up. Quite a few die. The others keep fighting.
I'm interested in seeing the rest of this series. Trying to fight something that knows your secrets is not any easy thing to do.
