Pop Manga Coloring Book by Camilla d'Errico

Are you ready to set your mind free and just create a picture that gives you pleasure?  This coloring book has manga images that beg for color.  The subtitle is:  A surreal journey through a cute, curious, bizarre, and beautiful world.  It truly is.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.  It has been published, so you can buy a copy now.

Manga art has always fascinated me so I wanted to see this book more for the images than anything.  They do not disappoint.  You have a lot of varieties, from faces to animals to one figure that reminds me of Medusa and more.

There isn't much text involved but the advice it offers inspires fun.  Like "Color outside the lines."  Or telling you to pick green, blue or pink for the hair.  Color the owls purple.  Use your imagination.  Make it your own creation by using colors that appeal to you, not the ones you think you're supposed to use.

I find that idea freeing and it makes it a much more attractive coloring book.  After all, what would you do with no limits?  Here's your chance to find out.  Let the artwork carry you away to another world...
