He's a young male bunny that wants to have a girlfriend but he's not sure how to go about it. It's a good thing he found a magic flower in the Nigella flowers that can give him advice!
The author gave me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get it now.
Being sweet and shy, it's hard for him to be forward. However, offering an acorn nut isn't too hard to do and it might open up a conversation. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. He keeps following the flower's advice and approaching more rabbits but they all are more interested in someone else. As he's bemoaning to the flower about this, he discovers it wasn't the flower talking to him...
Ms. Madderom's illustrations are very simple, as is the story line, and I'm sure young ones will love this story and want to read it more than once. It's a very pleasant tale and has a nice ending.
